About

Blank is a modular design system built for designers and developers who need production-ready components without starting from scratch. Originally created as a Craftwork product, Blank grew into a standalone brand with its own identity, website, and community.

The system covers everything from foundational UI elements to fully composed page templates — all designed to work seamlessly across Figma, Webflow, and Framer. Blank became one of the category-leading products in the design systems space and one of Craftwork’s top-selling assets.

What We Built

• Hundreds of responsive components — buttons, forms, navigation, cards, footers, headers, and more. Every component is designed with variants, states, and responsive behavior.
• Figma library — a well-organized component library with auto layout, variables, and consistent naming conventions. Plug it into any project and start building immediately.
• Webflow version — fully built, class-structured Webflow components ready to clone and customize. No code required.
• Framer templates — interactive, responsive templates that work out of the box in Framer.
• Page templates — pre-designed landing pages, dashboards, and marketing pages that combine Blank components into complete layouts.
• Style guide — a comprehensive design foundation with typography, color palettes, spacing scales, and grid systems.

Product Evolution

1. 2021 — Launch. Released the first version of Blank as a Figma UI kit inside the Craftwork marketplace. Focused on clean, minimal components with strong attention to spacing and typography.
2. 2022 — Webflow & Framer. Expanded the system beyond Figma. Shipped a fully built Webflow version and Framer templates, making Blank a true cross-platform design system.
3. 2023 — Standalone brand. Launched useblank.design as a dedicated website. Grew the component library and added full page templates.
4. 2024 — Scale. Continued expanding the system with new sections, components, and style variations. Blank became one of the best-selling design system products in the Craftwork catalog.
